Before your first visit
We’re so excited to welcome you to Renew Chiropractic! To help your first visit flow smoothly and allow us to focus entirely on you, please review the following before your appointment:
- Paperwork:
We kindly ask that all new patient forms be completed ahead of time using the link provided in your confirmation email. This ensures Dr. Cara and our team have time to review your health history and goals before your visit.
If you’d prefer to fill out your paperwork in the office, please plan to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. If your forms are already completed online, arriving 10 minutes early will allow time to get settled before your visit begins.
- Deposit Policy:
A non-refundable $50 deposit is required to reserve all new patient appointments. This deposit is applied toward your exam fee at the time of your visit.
Please note — if you cancel and do not reschedule, this deposit will not be refunded.
We appreciate your understanding and commitment to honoring this time — we reserve your appointment exclusively for you so that we can provide the individualized attention and care you deserve.
What to expect at Renew
From the moment you walk through our doors, we want you to feel at ease — like you’ve stepped into a calm, restorative space made just for you and your family.
As part of creating that environment:
- We are a no-shoe office.
To keep our space clean, grounded, and safe for all ages (especially the little ones who play on the floor), we ask that everyone remove their shoes just inside the front door. Feel free to bring socks or indoor slippers if you prefer! - We are also a no-food space.
We kindly ask that no outside food be brought into the office. This helps us maintain a peaceful, allergen-aware environment for all of our patients.
When you arrive, you’ll be greeted by one of our friendly team members at the front desk. New patients are given a quick tour of the space, where you’ll find:

💛 Cozy, welcoming spaces designed for rest and renewal
Every detail of our office has been intentionally curated to support a sense of calm — from the sounds and scents to the energy of our team. Whether you’re coming in for your first adjustment or your fiftieth, we want your time here to feel like a pause from the outside world and a step toward balance.
A note about our office puppy
At Renew Chiropractic, our space is designed to feel like home — warm, welcoming, and full of life. You may notice Navy Lou, our Goldendoodle, quietly observing the day or napping in her favorite spot. She’s part of our Renew family and brings a sense of calm and joy to many of our patients (especially the little ones!).
That said, we know comfort looks different for everyone. If you prefer that Navy not be in the treatment room during your visit, please let our team know — we’re more than happy to accommodate that request.
For everyone’s safety and to help maintain her training, we kindly ask that patients do not pet, feed, or interact with Navy unless Dr. Cara gives the go-ahead. This helps her stay focused and ensures a relaxing experience for all who enter our space.
If you have a service dog, please let the staff know before entering the office.
